What's american dreams?

Yeah,that's my question: What's american dreams.
I was one time in US , and luckly I stayed there only half days. I have a bad idea about american citizens, but , maybe it's a pity.
In my opinion US is a State where the first goal it's the money, first at all. Big house, big car, big tv.... big power. And they pretend that all world must have the some concepts. American people know generally only own language, because English is a language of the world, of the power. And when you sleep , american, what you dream? A big hamburger for you or a glass of water for each african children? Let's me know your opinion. I will be happy to change my idea.
